At the Department of Fish & Wildlife, our mission is to develop and manage the Reserve’s fish and wildlife resources to maximize economic benefit while ensuring the sustainability of such resources while minimizing adverse environmental consequences or adverse impacts to fish and wildlife. We also develop and manage the Reserve’s fishery enhancement efforts through our salmon production goals while minimizing adverse impacts to natural salmon populations.

  • 5. Properly dispose of hazardous materials.
  • 6. Carry your permit when actively fishing or hunting.
  • 7. Stay loud when in active bear country.
  • 8. Never feed wildlife.
  • 9. Always secure food or garbage.
  • 10. Always maintain a safe distance from wildlife.
